Nedis CAT 8.1 Network Cable RJ45 M RJ45 M 3.0m Round LSZH Grey Label

Nedis CAT 8.1 Network Cable RJ45 M RJ45 M 3.0m Round LSZH Grey Label | A direct wired network connection

Without a cable, there’s no direct wired link between network ports. This Nedis network cable is for a setup where you want to connect two RJ45 sockets with a cable rather than rely on a wireless connection. It has a male RJ45 connector at each end, so the connection is straightforward: one end at each port. The cable is 3.0 metres long, which makes it worth considering when the two connection points aren’t side by side but still sit within reach of a cable of that length. Its CAT 8.1 designation is part of the product name; no data-rate claim is needed to explain its basic job. This is a practical fit for someone arranging a wired network connection and looking for a specific cable length, rather than a cable supplied as part of another device.

Before choosing any cable, think about the route between the two ports, not just the straight-line distance. A cable may need to follow the edge of a desk or run along a wall, so leave enough room for the path you have in mind. If the ports are farther apart than this cable can reach along that route, it won’t suit that particular layout. The round form and grey colour can also help you identify the cable among others in a setup. It’s a simple accessory, but choosing the right reach can save you from having to rearrange connected equipment just to make the link work.
