Nedis CAT6-CABLE RJ45 Male RJ45 Male S/FTP 1.00m Round LSZH Red Label

Nedis CAT6-CABLE RJ45 Male RJ45 Male S/FTP 1.00m Round LSZH Red Label | A short, shielded network connection

Without a cable sized for the job, a nearby wired connection can leave you managing an awkward length of spare cable. The Nedis CAT6 cable gives you a one-metre link, with an RJ45 male plug at each end, for connecting equipment with matching RJ45 ports. Its S/FTP construction and LSZH designation are useful details when you’re choosing cable by more than just its connectors. The round cable suits a short route between nearby devices, such as across a desk or shelf; its reach makes it less suited to a connection that needs to cross a room. “Red Label” is part of the product name. If your devices are close together and you need a CAT6 cable with matching plugs on both ends, this is a straightforward option. The main thing to get right is the route: measure the path the cable will follow, rather than only the gap between the devices.

For a neat installation, consider where the cable will run and whether it needs to pass behind furniture or around the edge of a workspace. A short cable can help avoid a long loose run when the connection point is close by, but it won’t solve a reach problem. Keep the route in mind when placing the devices, and leave enough room for the plugs to meet their ports without putting the cable under strain. That small bit of planning makes it easier to decide whether this length suits your setup.
