Nedis CAT6-CABLE RJ45 Male RJ45 Male S/FTP 10.0m Round LSZH Yellow Label

Nedis CAT6-CABLE RJ45 Male RJ45 Male S/FTP 10.0m Round LSZH Yellow Label | A 10-metre cable for wired network links

For a wired network connection between two devices, this 10-metre Nedis CAT6 cable gives you a generous length to route along a room or work area. It has an RJ45 male plug at each end, so the connection is made from one RJ45 socket to another. The cable is round, with S/FTP shielding and an LSZH jacket, and it’s finished in yellow. That colour can make the run easier to pick out when you’re tracing cables behind a desk or near other connections. It suits anyone who needs a longer wired link and would rather plan a cable route than rely on a wireless connection. The honest practical point is that 10 metres gives you room to route around furniture, but it’s still worth measuring the full path before you choose where the cable will go.

Planning the cable run

Think about the route from socket to socket, not just the straight-line distance between the two devices. A cable usually needs some slack at each end, and the path may go around the edge of a room or behind furniture. This model is 10.0 metres long, so you can compare that figure with the route you have in mind. Its yellow finish is also a simple visual cue if you need to identify this particular cable among others. S/FTP and LSZH are part of the cable’s stated construction; the listing identifies the jacket as LSZH, without giving further material details. There’s no need to make this more complicated than it is: choose it when the length, CAT6 designation and RJ45 male plugs match the connection you’re setting up.
