Nedis CAT6-CABLE RJ45 Male RJ45 Male SF/UTP 1.00m Round PVC Grey Label

Nedis CAT6-CABLE RJ45 Male RJ45 Male SF/UTP 1.00m Round PVC Grey Label | A short link between RJ45 ports

When two network devices sit close together, a long cable can leave an untidy loop on the desk or behind a cabinet. This Nedis CAT6 cable gives you a 1.00m connection for a short run between equipment with matching RJ45 sockets. It has a male RJ45 connector at each end, so it’s intended to plug directly into those sockets rather than serve as an extension with a different connector arrangement. The cable is identified as SF/UTP, with a round PVC covering in grey. Its CAT6 designation makes it a straightforward option when you specifically need a CAT6 cable for a nearby connection. It’s best suited to a defined, short route; measure the path first, especially if the cable needs to go around furniture rather than straight between ports.

Choosing the right cable length

A cable that reaches comfortably is easier to place than one pulled tight between two devices. Before setting up, trace the route the cable will actually take: a direct gap and a path down the side of a desk aren’t the same distance. Leave room for the cable to follow that route without forcing the plugs against the equipment. If the devices are next to each other, a short cable can help keep excess length out of sight. If the connection has to travel across a room or around several obstacles, this particular length may not suit the route. The useful question is simple: does the path between the two RJ45 sockets fit within the available cable length? That keeps the choice grounded in your setup, rather than in assumptions about how far apart your equipment is.
