Nedis CAT6-CABLE RJ45 Male RJ45 Male SF/UTP 10.0m Round PVC Grey Label

Nedis CAT6-CABLE RJ45 Male RJ45 Male SF/UTP 10.0m Round PVC Grey Label | A 10-metre wired connection

Connect two pieces of network equipment over a wired link, with enough cable to route between points that aren’t side by side. The Nedis CAT6-CABLE RJ45 Male RJ45 Male SF/UTP 10.0m Round PVC Grey Label is a 10.0-metre CAT6 cable with an RJ45 male connector at each end. It suits a setup where both connection points have RJ45 sockets and a direct cable run is more practical than placing the equipment together. The round grey cable has a PVC covering and SF/UTP construction, as specified in its name. Its length gives you room to follow a route around a desk or along a room edge rather than stretching a short lead across the gap. For a fixed installation, the useful question is simple: where will the cable actually run? Measure that path, not just the straight-line distance between the devices.

Planning the cable route

A ten-metre cable can make a connection possible across a room or between separate work areas, but the route affects how much reach you have left at the ends. Allow for turns around furniture and the path you intend to follow, then leave enough slack for the cable to meet each device without being pulled tight. That’s a small bit of planning that can save an awkward run later. The round form is worth bearing in mind when deciding where to place it; plan its path before settling on the positions of the connected equipment. This is a straightforward cable for a wired setup, with the key details easy to identify: CAT6, RJ45 male ends and a 10-metre length.
