Nedis CAT6a-Cable S/FTP RJ45 M RJ45 M 5 M Snagless Braided/PVC SL Box

Nedis CAT6a-Cable S/FTP RJ45 M RJ45 M 5 M Snagless Braided/PVC SL Box | Five metres of RJ45 cable reach

When a network device needs a wired connection and the router or socket isn’t right beside it, a five-metre cable can make the route easier to plan. This Nedis CAT6a cable has a male RJ45 connector at each end, so it’s made to link equipment with matching RJ45 ports. Its S/FTP designation and braided/PVC construction are part of the cable’s stated build; the title also identifies a snagless design. That combination of connector type and length is the useful starting point when choosing a cable for a home or work setup. It’s best suited to a straightforward wired connection where you already know RJ45 is the connector you need. One practical note: five metres gives you room to route around a desk or along a wall, but it’s still worth measuring the path rather than guessing.

Plan the cable route

Before setting up, trace the route from one connection point to the other, including any turns around furniture or along the edge of a room. Leave the cable where it won’t become a trip hazard or get pinched under a door or furniture. If you’re arranging a desk, decide where the cable should enter and exit the area before connecting it; that small bit of planning can keep the run neater and make it easier to reach the equipment later. This cable’s role is simple: join two matching RJ45 ports. Choose it when that’s the connection you need, and when the available route suits its stated length.
