Nedis CAT6a Network Cable S/FTP RJ45 Male RJ45 Male 1.00 M Round LSZH Box

Nedis CAT6a Network Cable S/FTP RJ45 Male RJ45 Male 1.00 M Round LSZH Box | A short, clearly specified network link

When a router, switch or other network device sits close to the equipment you need to connect, a short cable can keep the run manageable. This Nedis network cable measures 1.00 metre, so it suits a nearby connection rather than a long route across a room. Both ends have male RJ45 connectors, and the cable is specified as CAT6a with S/FTP construction. Its round shape is a familiar option for routing between devices, while the LSZH designation identifies the cable type named in the product specification. The cable is white, which can be handy when you want it to blend with a light desk or wall area. For a camera workspace, it’s relevant wherever network equipment is part of the setup; it isn’t a camera connection cable. The main thing to consider is the distance between the two network points: at one metre, this is intended for a short, direct connection.

A short cable for a nearby connection

Before choosing a cable length, think about where the connected devices will sit and how the cable will reach between them. A one-metre lead is easier to keep close to a desk or equipment shelf than a longer run, but it also gives you less room to reposition the devices. That’s a practical trade-off, not a complication: this cable is specified for a short link. Its RJ45 male connectors are fitted at both ends, so the same cable end can go to either side of the connection. The round profile and white colour give you a clear sense of its physical form when planning where to route it. It comes in a box, as indicated in the product name.
