Nedis CAT7 Network Cable | A short link without excess slack

The 0.25 m length is the defining choice here: it’s made for connecting equipment that sits close together, without leaving a long loop of spare cable. This Nedis CAT7 network cable has male RJ45 connectors and S/FTP construction, with a snagless design, LSZH cable and grey finish. It suits a neat, short network connection where a longer lead would simply get in the way. The honest point is that this is a very short cable, so it’s useful when the connection is nearby, not when you need to route a cable across a room. Its grey colour is understated, and the snagless detail is a practical touch when you’re plugging and unplugging it in a crowded setup.

When choosing a cable, start with the distance between the two connection points and the path the cable needs to take. A short lead can keep a close connection tidy, but it leaves little room for routing around obstacles or repositioning equipment. I’d measure the available route rather than relying on the straight-line gap between devices. That small check is especially helpful when sockets face away from each other or the cable needs to pass around the side of a desk. If the equipment is arranged nearby and the cable can run directly between its ports, this compact format keeps the connection simple without spare cable to bundle away.
