Nedis Coaxial Cable Op Reel | Mini Coax | Double Afgeschermd | Eca | 10.0 M| PVC

Nedis Coaxial Cable on Reel | Mini Coax | Double Shielded | Eca | 10.0 m | PVC | A measured length for coaxial cable runs

The useful distinction here is the 10-metre length supplied on a reel, rather than a short, ready-made lead. This Nedis cable suits anyone who needs coaxial cable by the length for a particular run, and would rather plan that route than choose a fixed-length connection. It’s mini coax, double shielded, marked Eca and made with a PVC outer material. Those details make it easier to compare the cable with the requirements of your installation, but they don’t tell you which equipment or connectors it will suit. For a straightforward cable run where mini coax is specified, the reel format gives you cable to work with across a measured distance. One practical point: measure the route you actually need, including the way the cable will be laid, before settling on a length. That helps you judge whether 10 metres is appropriate for your job.

Planning the cable run

Start with the connection you need to make and the route between its two ends. Check that the cable type required for that connection is mini coax, then compare the route’s measured length with the amount on the reel. A direct route and one that follows walls or furniture may need different lengths, so measuring the path is more useful than estimating from the distance between the endpoints. Also consider where the cable needs to reach at each end; a close estimate can leave little room to position it as intended. The product name gives you the core details to weigh up: cable type, shielding description, Eca marking, length and outer material. Use those details alongside the requirements of your installation, rather than assuming the cable will suit a connection based on appearance alone.
