Nedis DIN-Audio Cable DIN 5-PINS Male 3.5 mm Male Nickel Plated 2m

Nedis DIN-Audio Cable DIN 5-PINS Male 3.5 mm Male Nickel Plated 2m | Connects DIN and 3.5 mm audio sockets

What sets this cable apart is its combination of a 5-pin DIN male plug at one end and a 3.5 mm male plug at the other. It’s for anyone connecting audio equipment with those matching sockets, or replacing a cable with the same connector arrangement. The two-metre length gives you some room to position connected devices without needing them right beside each other. Nickel-plated connectors complete the straightforward design. This cable is best for a simple, direct audio connection where the DIN and 3.5 mm ends match the sockets you need to join. It doesn’t add controls or adapters; its job is to link those two connector types. Before you settle on a cable, the connector shape matters as much as the length, so this one is a specific fit rather than a general-purpose lead.

A direct link between two connector types

With a male plug at each end, this Nedis cable is intended to connect two corresponding female sockets. One end is a 5-pin DIN connector; the other is a 3.5 mm connector. That makes the cable’s purpose easy to identify, but the connector names alone don’t establish that every pair of audio devices will work together. The equipment needs the matching sockets, and the connection must suit the devices’ audio setup. The cable is two metres long, so you can allow for a little distance between the connected equipment. If you’re replacing an existing lead, compare both plugs and the cable length with the one you’re using. That’s a simple way to avoid choosing a cable with the wrong end.
