Nedis DP-Cable DP Male HDMI Connector 1080p Nickel Plated 1.00m Round PVC

Nedis DP-Cable DP Male HDMI Connector 1080p Nickel Plated 1.00m Round PVC | A direct DP-to-HDMI link

When your setup has a DisplayPort connection at one end and an HDMI connection at the other, finding the right cable can be an irritating hold-up. This Nedis cable provides that connector pairing for a 1080p connection. It suits anyone putting together equipment that uses these two connection types and looking for a straightforward cable link. The 1.00-metre length is intended for a short run, such as devices placed close together; it won’t leave much spare cable for a longer route. Its round PVC construction keeps the cable in a familiar, simple format, while the connectors are nickel plated. There’s no need to dress this up as a complicated accessory: the key point is the DP male-to-HDMI pairing, with a stated 1080p resolution. If that’s the connection your setup needs, this cable gives you a clearly specified option.

Planning the connection

It helps to work out where each end of the cable needs to go before arranging your equipment. Identify the DisplayPort connection and the HDMI connection in your setup, then consider the distance between them and the route the cable will take. A short cable can keep a nearby connection manageable, but it leaves little room for a wide detour around furniture or other equipment. That’s the practical trade-off to keep in mind when choosing a cable length. This product is specifically described as a DP cable with an HDMI connector, so its purpose is clear from the name. If you’re comparing options, focus on the connection pairing and the stated resolution first, then decide whether the available length suits the layout you have in mind.
