Nedis Network Cable CAT7 Solid S/FTP Copper 100 M Outdoor Pe BK
Nedis Network Cable CAT7 Solid S/FTP Copper 100 M Outdoor Pe BK | A 100-metre cable for outdoor network runs
A short network lead won’t help when the route you need to cover runs well beyond a room. This Nedis cable gives you 100 metres to work with, making it suited to planned network installations where an outdoor cable is needed. It’s CAT7, with a solid S/FTP copper construction and a PE outer sheath. The black finish is a practical detail when the cable will be visible along part of its route. For an installer or a careful DIY project, its main appeal is straightforward: a long cable supplied for outdoor use, rather than a collection of shorter leads joined along the way. Solid cable is generally chosen for a fixed run, not for something you’ll keep coiling up and moving. That makes this a more considered purchase for a cable route you’ve already planned.
The CAT7 and S/FTP markings identify the cable type and construction, so they’re useful when matching it to the requirements of an installation. The title specifies copper conductors and a solid format; it doesn’t describe a flexible patch cable. If the job is a permanent run between network points, those details help distinguish it from a lead intended for frequent handling. There’s no need to buy extra length in short sections just to cover distance: this cable is 100 metres long.
Plan the route before you start, especially where the cable will pass outdoors. The product is identified for outdoor use and has a PE sheath; those are the relevant details to consider when choosing cable for that setting. Its black colour may also suit a route where the cable remains in view. Keep your installation plan in mind when deciding how much length you need and where the cable will end. For a long, fixed network route, this Nedis cable offers a single 100-metre length with its category and construction clearly identified.
