Nedis USB-Cable USB 2.0 USB-A Male USB-A Female 480 Mbps 1.00 M Round

Nedis USB-Cable USB 2.0 USB-A Male USB-A Female 480 Mbps 1.00 M Round | A simple USB-A extension

Its defining design choice is the round cable: a straightforward form for a lead that needs to run between two points. Nedis combines a USB-A male plug and a USB-A female socket, so the cable can extend a USB-A connection while providing a socket at the other end. At 1.00 metre, it’s suited to a modest reach rather than a long route across a room. The USB 2.0 connection is listed at 480 Mbps; that’s the stated data rate, not a promise of the speed you’ll see in every setup. The black finish keeps the cable visually low-key. If you need this particular connector arrangement and length, the essentials are clear: it’s a simple extension, with no extra function implied by its name.

Planning the connection

Before setting up any cable, it helps to picture where the connection starts and where you want it to end. Measure the route you have in mind, including any turns around furniture or other obstacles, rather than judging the distance in a straight line. Leave a little room for the cable to sit naturally; having to pull a lead tight can make a tidy setup harder to maintain. Also consider where you want the accessible connection point to be. Those small decisions make it easier to tell whether a short extension suits the spot, without assuming anything about the equipment you’ll connect.
