Nitze 1/4-20 Screw EN ARRI Loc Pins To ARRI Rozet (N68)
Nitze 1/4-20 Screw EN ARRI Loc Pins To ARRI Rozet (N68) | Connects specific rig interfaces
Without a dedicated interface piece, joining a 1/4-20 screw fitting to an ARRI rosette setup means finding a part that suits both connection types. The Nitze N68 is a tripod accessory for that specific link: its name identifies a 1/4-20 screw, ARRI locating pins and an ARRI rosette. It suits camera operators and rig builders whose tripod-based setup uses an ARRI rosette and calls for a 1/4-20 screw connection at the other side. Think of it as a focused connection part, rather than a general-purpose mounting plate. Its value is in bringing those named interfaces together in one accessory, which can make choosing the right part for a planned rig more straightforward. If your setup calls for these connection types, the N68 is worth considering; it isn’t intended as a solution for unrelated mounting standards.
Specialist Note
“Does the N68 connect a 1/4-20 screw fitting to an ARRI rosette?” Yes—that’s the specific interface combination its name describes. The 1/4-20 screw gives you a threaded connection to work with, while the ARRI locating pins identify the rosette-side arrangement. I’d consider it for a tripod-based rig where one component needs that screw connection and the receiving point is an ARRI rosette; map those two points before assembling so you know the N68 matches the job. It’s a specialised part, not a general adapter for every rig. For a setup built around these exact interfaces, that narrow purpose is useful.
