Nitze Zijhandgreep w/ ARRI Rozet (PA22-H1)

Nitze Side Handle with ARRI Rosette (PA22-H1) | A side grip with an ARRI rosette connection

The defining choice is the ARRI rosette: Nitze identifies the PA22-H1 as a side handle with this connection, making it the main point to consider when choosing the grip. If your rig calls for a side handle with an ARRI rosette, this model gives you a clearly identified option rather than a grip with an unspecified interface. It suits camera operators looking for a handhold at the side of their setup, especially when they guide the rig by hand. Its strongest use is straightforward: adding a side handle to a build where the grip choice is based on an ARRI rosette. I’d shortlist it for that reason, without assuming the handle alone answers every question about a complete setup. The name doesn’t tell us how it feels in hand, and there’s no point pretending otherwise. Start with the rosette you need; that’s what makes this Nitze model specific.

Where it makes sense

Think of the PA22-H1 as a specific grip option, not shorthand for a complete camera build. The side-handle format points to a simple job: give the operator a place to hold the rig from the side. The rosette designation helps narrow the choice, so it makes most sense when that connection is already part of how you’re planning the grip position. That’s a useful distinction when shopping: you’re choosing a handle by both its position and its named interface. If those are the two things you’re looking for, the product title gives a clear answer. If you’re comparing how a handle feels or sits in a particular setup, those are hands-on questions; a product name can’t settle them.
