Rycote Pair Of 19/25RD - 19/25SQ Stereo Clips
Rycote Pair Of 19/25RD - 19/25SQ Stereo Clips | A matched pair for stereo microphone setups
The defining choice is to supply these as a pair of stereo clips, so you have two clips together for a stereo microphone setup. They’re for sound recordists who need clips for arranging microphones as a pair, rather than someone shopping for a microphone itself. That makes them relevant when preparing to record a performance or capture the sound of a room: the clips are the practical mounting accessory in the setup. The product name also gives you a specific identifier, “19/25RD - 19/25SQ”, which is worth keeping to hand when you’re matching this item to a parts list or asking for the same Rycote clip set again. There’s no need to treat the model wording as a performance claim; the useful point is that this is a clearly named pair of stereo clips. For a focused accessory purchase, that’s the detail to match.
Specialist Note
Sound recordists putting together a stereo setup for an acoustic performance or room ambience are the people I’d point towards this pair. Having two clips supplied together makes sense when your arrangement uses a clip at each microphone position; set the microphones in the stereo layout you want, then use one clip for each. The words “Stereo Clips” are the key here: this is an accessory for organising a stereo microphone setup, not a microphone or a general recording kit. I’d also keep the full “19/25RD - 19/25SQ” designation with your equipment notes, so you can identify this exact pair when you need the same product again. It’s a specific-purpose purchase, which is its appeal.
