Saramonic UTC-C35 Mini Jack TRS / USB-C
Saramonic UTC-C35 Mini Jack TRS / USB-C | Connect two audio formats directly
When a microphone and recording device have different connectors, you usually need an extra link to bring them together. The Saramonic UTC-C35 is a microphone accessory for a setup that needs a Mini Jack TRS connection on one side and USB-C on the other. It suits anyone whose audio chain uses those two connector formats and wants a direct connection between them, rather than a chain of separate adapters. Its most specific use is bridging a Mini Jack TRS microphone connection to a USB-C connection; the value is in matching those ends, not in adding controls or changing how you record. That makes it a straightforward piece to consider when planning a compact audio setup around these connections. Connector shape alone doesn’t tell you whether every microphone and recording device will work together, though, so treat this as a connector link rather than a promise of universal compatibility. If your setup calls for Mini Jack TRS to USB-C, this is the format named in the product.
Specialist Note
“Will this take a Mini Jack TRS microphone connection to USB-C?” That’s the connection combination named for the UTC-C35, so it’s the one I’d consider it for. The Mini Jack TRS end matters when your microphone setup uses that plug; USB-C gives you the other side of the link. For example, if you’re putting together a recording setup with those two connector types, use the UTC-C35 to join them directly instead of adding a separate connector link. I’d keep the expectation precise: matching plugs is essential, but it doesn’t by itself confirm that every mic and USB-C device will communicate properly. It suits customers who already know their setup calls for these exact ends.
