Silicon Power DS72 SSD Stick 2TB USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A & Type-C (Black)

Silicon Power DS72 SSD Stick 2TB USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A & Type-C (Black) | One stick, two USB connector types

The defining design choice is the combination of Type-A and Type-C USB connections in one SSD stick. That gives you a single storage device listed for both connector types, rather than making you pick one when choosing the product. The DS72 is for people who want 2TB of storage in a stick-style drive, whether they’re keeping files together or moving them between places. Its USB 3.2 Gen 2 designation is useful when comparing it with other storage products, but the title doesn’t give a transfer-rate figure, so I wouldn’t choose it on an assumed speed. The practical appeal is simpler: a stated capacity, two connector types and a small stick format. If those are the details you’re looking for, this Silicon Power drive is easy to assess without reading a long list of extras.

What to weigh before choosing

Start with the connector you need to use, then consider whether 2TB suits the amount of data you want to keep on one drive. The DS72’s Type-A and Type-C wording gives you those two connection formats to consider; it doesn’t tell you which devices you’ll use it with, so match the connector requirement to your own setup. That’s a more useful check than treating the USB generation label as a guarantee of a particular real-world transfer speed. The black finish and stick design keep the product description simple: it’s a storage stick, not a card, and its stated capacity is 2TB. For a shopper comparing drives, those are concrete points to weigh against the way you organise and carry your files.
