The 50mm focal length makes it a considered option for dialogue, portraits and composed scene work, rather than a lens for covering every angle from one position. Focus is manual, which suits deliberate setups where you want to set and control focus yourself. Specialist Note

The 47° angle of view does mean you’ll need to think about camera position in a tight room; this isn’t a one-lens answer to every framing problem. Set the camera position to include both speakers, then use manual focus to shift attention from one face to the other as the exchange changes.
