SmallRig 5760 Magnetic Mount w/ ArcaSwiss Quick Release Plate
SmallRig 5760 Magnetic Mount w/ ArcaSwiss Quick Release Plate | Magnetic mounting with quick-release handling
Without a dedicated mount, changing how an accessory sits on a tripod can mean taking time to reposition and secure it. The SmallRig 5760 is a tripod accessory that brings magnetic mounting together with an Arca-Swiss quick-release plate. It suits photographers and makers who want those two mounting approaches in one accessory, rather than a general-purpose tripod part. Its best use is a setup where magnetic attachment is useful and an Arca-Swiss plate is already part of the workflow. The quick-release design can make it easier to move between a compatible plate receiver and other parts of a setup, while the magnetic element offers another way to position the mount. The product name gives you the key points to consider: the magnetic mount and the Arca-Swiss plate. It’s a focused piece of kit, so its usefulness depends on those being the connections your setup calls for.
Specialist Note
This is a focused accessory, so it won’t solve every tripod-mounting need; it makes sense when its particular combination matches your setup. The magnetic mount gives you a way to attach by magnet, while the Arca-Swiss quick-release plate is there for a plate-based workflow. I’d consider it for a tripod setup where you want to reposition an accessory, then use the plate connection to move it between compatible positions. The model number is 5760, handy to keep in mind when you’re comparing SmallRig accessories. It’s best suited to someone who already knows they need magnetic mounting and Arca-Swiss release, rather than someone shopping for a complete support system.
How to decide if it fits your setup
Start with the two connections you need: magnetic mounting and an Arca-Swiss quick-release plate. If both are relevant to the way you arrange your tripod accessories, this SmallRig combines them in one product. If your setup calls for a different kind of connection, this specific pairing may not be the right match. That’s the practical distinction to make before choosing it.
