SmallRig 711 Cold Shoe Mount w/ Hook And Loop Stra

SmallRig 711 Cold Shoe Mount with Hook-and-Loop Strap | Add a cold shoe to your tripod setup

Finding a place for a cold-shoe accessory in a tripod setup can be awkward, especially when you don't want to add a permanent fixture. The SmallRig 711 is a tripod accessory that combines a cold shoe mount with a hook-and-loop strap, giving you a way to position a cold-shoe accessory on a suitable support. It may suit photographers and video makers who want to keep a compact accessory close to their camera while working from a tripod. The cold shoe provides the accessory attachment point; the strap gives you a way to secure the mount in place. That makes it useful when your setup needs a different accessory position from the one your camera or tripod already offers. It's a focused bit of kit rather than a general-purpose mounting system, so its appeal is simple: add a cold shoe where the strap can be fastened, without making a permanent change to the support.
