SWIT K21IN Flight Case 21.5 HDR FHD Field Monitor w/ Sun Hood V-Mount
SWIT K21IN Flight Case 21.5 HDR FHD Field Monitor w/ Sun Hood V-Mount | A portable monitor for location work
On a location shoot, a larger screen can make it easier for a small crew to review a picture together. The SWIT K21IN is a 21.5-inch field monitor supplied in a flight-case configuration, with a sun hood and V-Mount designation. Its Full HD display is intended for monitoring rather than serving as a 4K reference screen, while the HDR label makes it relevant to crews working with HDR images. The size suits a video team that wants a shared viewing point at a camera position, set or production base, instead of asking everyone to crowd around a small display. The flight case makes the package suited to moving between locations, and the hood is useful when you need shade around the screen outdoors. It’s a specific, practical setup for crews who value a large field monitor and need to transport it as part of their production kit.
Specialist Note
The sun hood gives this 21.5-inch screen a defined shade, which is a useful detail when you’re setting up to monitor outdoors. I’d consider it for a crew that needs to review framing and HDR material together at a fixed camera position, rather than pass a small screen around. The Full HD resolution is the point to keep in mind: it’s suited to viewing a production image, but it isn’t a 4K display for judging every fine detail. The flight-case format makes sense for regular location moves, and the V-Mount designation will matter when planning the rig around that standard. For a compact solo setup, this may simply be more monitor than you need.
