SWIT PL-S150L| 8:1 150W Super-Bright Soft Panel LED Light 5500LUX V-Mount DMX

SWIT PL-S150L | Soft 150W light for studio and set

The SWIT PL-S150L combines a soft-panel LED format with a stated 150W output, making it a distinct option for studio and set work where a broad, softened light source is wanted. It’s aimed at crews and content makers who need a panel light with both DMX and V-mount named in its specification. The title also gives a brightness figure of 5500 lux and an 8:1 designation; those are useful details to compare when you’re weighing it against other lights for a particular setup. Its 5500K colour temperature points to daylight-balanced use. The honest point is that the title alone doesn’t explain what the 8:1 figure refers to, so I wouldn’t use that number as a deciding factor without further context. The more straightforward reasons to consider this model are its soft-panel format, 150W rating and stated control and power options.

For a studio or set, the PL-S150L makes sense when you’re looking for a panel light rather than a different style of fixture, and when DMX or V-mount matters to the way you plan a lighting setup. Those details can help narrow the shortlist before you compare how a light fits your space and workflow. The 5500-lux figure is another concrete point to compare, though brightness numbers are most useful when the measurement conditions are understood. There’s no need to treat the 8:1 label as a promise of a particular lighting effect: the product title doesn’t define it. If the format and listed connections match your requirements, this SWIT is a focused studio-light option, rather than a general-purpose description with no clear use in mind.
