Tilta MB-T16-77V2 77mm Adapter Ring For Mirage V2
Tilta MB-T16-77V2 77mm Adapter Ring For Mirage V2 | A 77mm ring for the Mirage V2
When you’re putting together a handheld video setup and need the camera to feel better supported, the parts that connect the rig matter. The Tilta MB-T16-77V2 is a 77mm adapter ring for the Mirage V2, intended for use within a rig setup. Its size and named system make it a specific component rather than a general-purpose ring: it’s for a 77mm setup built around the Mirage V2. The supplier categorises it as a shoulder rig and identifies handheld video work as its typical use, where extra camera support is needed. That makes it relevant to operators assembling a rig for steadier handheld work, rather than someone looking for a standalone camera support. The useful point is the clear match between the ring’s 77mm designation and the Mirage V2 system. If your video rig is built around those, this part has a defined role; it isn’t a universal solution for every setup.
Specialist Note
The 77mm size is the detail to keep in mind: it gives this ring a specific place in a Mirage V2 build, rather than leaving you to guess which size the setup calls for. For handheld interviews or event video, I’d consider it when you’re assembling a rig around the Mirage V2 and want to keep the components matched to that system. The ring is made for the Mirage V2, so its value is in that focused pairing, not in acting as a general camera support on its own. It suits video operators who already have a rig plan; if you need a complete shoulder-support setup, this ring is just one component to account for.
