Tilta MB-T16-82V2 82mm Adapter Ring For Mirage V2
Tilta MB-T16-82V2 82mm Adapter Ring For Mirage V2 | For supported handheld video work
Handheld video is harder to manage when the camera needs extra support. The Tilta MB-T16-82V2 is an 82mm adapter ring for Mirage V2, listed as a shoulder-rig product for handheld video work. It’s aimed at operators who want more support while filming without giving up a handheld approach. The name makes its intended pairing clear: this is the 82mm ring for the Mirage V2, rather than a general-purpose rig accessory. That specificity is useful when you’re planning a setup around those requirements. It’s suited to handheld filming where steadier support matters, such as an interview or a moving shot. Think of it as a specialised part of a shoulder-rig setup, not a complete support system on its own. If those 82mm and Mirage V2 details match the setup you’re building, this product has a clearly defined role.
Specialist Note
“Is this the 82mm adapter ring for Mirage V2?” Yes—that’s exactly how this Tilta is identified. The 82mm designation helps you pick out the ring size you need, while Mirage V2 names the setup it’s intended for; both details matter when you’re assembling a specific rig. I’d consider it for handheld interview footage or moving video where you want the camera supported as part of a shoulder-rig arrangement. Keep in mind that this is a focused ring, not a standalone shoulder support. Its value is in choosing the named 82mm part for a Mirage V2 setup, rather than expecting it to serve as a general rig component.
