Tilta Ta-T16-FCC-B Full Camera Cage For Sony FX3/FX30 V2 - Black
Tilta Ta-T16-FCC-B Full Camera Cage For Sony FX3/FX30 V2 - Black | A full cage for two Sony cinema cameras
Its defining detail is in the name: this is a full camera cage made for the Sony FX3 and FX30, rather than a general-purpose cage with a broad compatibility claim. It suits owners of either named camera who want a cage as part of their camera setup, with the black finish for a low-key look alongside the body. A cage is most relevant when your camera is handled regularly between setups and you want a physical structure around it; this model’s stated purpose is protection, not a change to how the camera records. The V2 label identifies this as the second version of the product name, though the details here don’t specify what changed from an earlier version. Choose it for the FX3 or FX30 specifically, and keep expectations to what the product is: a full cage, not a promise of particular mounts or included accessories.
Specialist Note
3 is the useful clue in FX3: this cage is named for that camera, and the FX30 is named alongside it, so the intended body match is clear. The word “Full” matters in practice too; you’re choosing a full cage format, not a smaller partial frame. I’d consider it for an FX3 or FX30 used on a video setup where the camera gets handled between takes, or moved from a desk interview arrangement to another position. The black finish keeps the look restrained. It’s a focused fit, so I wouldn’t buy it on the assumption that it suits other camera bodies or includes specific accessory mounts.
