Tilta Tga-ME Mechanical Extension For Dual Handle Power Supply Bracket
Tilta Tga-ME Mechanical Extension For Dual Handle Power Supply Bracket | Extra support for handheld video
Without a shoulder rig, handheld video means supporting the camera directly, which can get tiring when a shot calls for steadier handling. The Tilta Tga-ME is a mechanical extension for a dual handle power supply bracket, intended for use as part of a shoulder-rig setup. It suits video makers who work handheld and want extra support from their rig rather than relying on their arms alone. Its strongest use is straightforward: supporting the camera during handheld video work. The extension is specific to the dual-handle bracket arrangement, so it’s a considered part of a rig setup, not a stand-alone camera support. If you’re putting together a shoulder rig around that bracket, the Tga-ME gives you an extension designed for that role.
Specialist Note
With a two-handle shoulder-rig setup, I’d consider the Tga-ME when handheld footage needs more support than holding the camera by itself provides. Its mechanical-extension design means it belongs in the bracket arrangement, while the dual-handle setup gives you a two-handed way to manage the camera. For a seated interview or a slow handheld move, use it as part of the rig so the setup helps support the camera through the shot. It’s aimed at video work, rather than being a general-purpose camera accessory. One practical limit: it depends on the dual handle power supply bracket setup, so it isn’t a complete shoulder rig on its own.
