Tokina 112.0mm Hydrophilic
Tokina 112.0mm Hydrophilic | Color filtration in a 112.0mm size
Give your images a deliberate color-filtered look with the Tokina 112.0mm Hydrophilic, a color filter for photographers whose setup calls for this stated size. Its hydrophilic designation describes a surface with an affinity for water, making that surface property part of what sets this filter apart. It suits photographers who want to work with color filtration and need a 112.0mm filter for their existing setup. The clearest practical starting point is size: match the 112.0mm designation to the filter position you plan to use, then consider how color filtration fits the image you want to make. Hydrophilic is a description of the filter’s relationship with water; it doesn’t, by itself, specify a particular color effect. That makes this a focused option for buyers who know they want a Tokina color filter in this size and value the named hydrophilic property, rather than a filter chosen for an undocumented effect.
Specialist Note
112.0mm is the size to get right first: match it to the filter position in your setup before planning a shot around this Tokina. The hydrophilic designation tells you this filter has a water-affine character, rather than a water-repelling one; bear that in mind when moisture is part of the conditions. I’d look at it for deliberate color work on a scene, where the goal is to shape the color rendition with a filter rather than rely on post-processing alone. It suits photographers who already know their setup takes a 112.0mm filter and want a color-filter option with this specific surface property. The exact color effect isn’t defined by the product name, so choose it for the stated type and size, not a promised hue shift.
