Ulanzi R096 Double Super Clamp Tube Clamp w/ Ball Head
Ulanzi R096 Double Super Clamp Tube Clamp w/ Ball Head | Position accessories on a tube
Keep an accessory positioned on a tube, with a ball head to help aim it where you need it. The Ulanzi R096 combines a double super clamp design with a tube clamp and ball head, making it a mounting option for tube-based camera setups. It suits photographers and videographers who want to place an accessory beside a rig rather than hold it in position. The clamp handles the tube attachment; the ball head gives you a way to adjust the direction of the mounted setup. That can be handy when arranging a camera rig around a particular angle or keeping an accessory out of the way while you work. Its role is specific: this is a clamp and positioning accessory, not a filter. If your setup uses a tube and you need an adjustable mounting point, the R096 gives you a straightforward way to add one.
Specialist Note
The Ulanzi R096 is at its best when you need to clamp an accessory onto a tube and aim it into position. I’d consider it for a tube-based camera setup where you want an accessory mounted alongside the rig, rather than supported by hand. The double super clamp design makes the tube-clamping job central to the product, while the ball head gives you a way to change the accessory’s direction after mounting. That’s useful when a fixed position doesn’t quite point where you need it. It suits people building around tubes; just think of it as a mounting aid, not as a filter or filter holder.
