VAXIS Amaranth Camera Body Cap For RF EF PL Mount Random Colour
VAXIS Amaranth Camera Body Cap For RF EF PL Mount Random Colour | Cover the body mount between uses
Keep the camera body's open mount covered when a lens is off. This VAXIS Amaranth camera body cap is named for RF, EF and PL mounts, so it suits owners of camera bodies using one of those mount systems. Fit it when changing lenses or before putting the body away, rather than leaving the mount uncovered during the pause. The cap is made for the camera body, not for covering a lens. Its random colour gives it a distinct appearance in your kit, though the colour itself is not specified. This is a simple, purpose-specific accessory: its job is to cover the body mount between uses. If you keep a camera body ready as a spare, or store it separately from its lens, having a dedicated cap close by helps keep the exposed mount covered.
Specialist Note
Three mount names—RF, EF and PL—make this a specifically described body cap, not a universal one. In practice, I’d keep it with a body in one of those mount systems and fit it whenever the lens comes off, especially during a lens change or before storing the camera. That keeps the open mount covered while the body is waiting. The body-cap format is the key detail: this is for the camera body, not a lens. It suits owners of the named mounts who want a simple cover close at hand. One small point: the colour is random, so don’t count on receiving a particular shade.
