VAXIS Cold Shoe Mount For 500 SDI w/ 3m Sticker
VAXIS Cold Shoe Mount For 500 SDI w/ 3m Sticker | A simple mounting option for your 500 SDI setup
The VAXIS Cold Shoe Mount For 500 SDI w/ 3m Sticker gives you a sticker-based way to position the mount in a VAXIS 500 SDI setup. It’s aimed at owners who need a mounting point for this specific unit and want an alternative to relying on a cold shoe alone. Use the sticker to place the mount where it suits your layout, then use its cold shoe to position an accessory. That makes it useful when organising a compact camera rig or choosing where an accessory sits around the 500 SDI. The benefit is a more flexible placement option; the sensible approach is to plan the position before attaching the sticker. This is a focused mounting accessory, rather than a general-purpose support, so its appeal is clearest when you’re building around the named VAXIS system.
Specialist Note
Once the position is chosen, the cold shoe gives you a straightforward point to mount an accessory without making the 500 SDI itself the mounting surface. I’d consider this for a tidy camera-rig layout, or where you want to place the unit in a specific spot and keep an accessory close at hand. The 3M sticker gives you that placement option; take a moment to decide where it should sit before applying it. It’s a neat, purpose-built answer for someone working with the VAXIS 500 SDI. Just keep in mind that it’s a specific mount, not a universal mounting kit.
