Westcott Switch Insert FJ80 Profoto A1 A1X A10 Godox V1

Westcott Switch Insert FJ80 Profoto A1 A1X A10 Godox V1 | Match your flash to the Switch system

The insert format is the defining choice here: it gives the Westcott Switch system a specific connection for the flash models named in the product title. That makes this a practical accessory for photographers who already use one of those flashes and want to bring it into a Switch setup. Its purpose is focused, rather than universal; the useful detail is that the compatible models are identified by name, so you can match the insert to your own kit instead of guessing from a broad brand label. It covers the FJ80, Profoto A1, A1X and A10, plus the Godox V1. If one of those is the flash you work with, this is the insert to consider. The honest point: the model match matters more than appearance or general brand familiarity.

Choosing the right insert

When you’re selecting an insert, start with the exact flash model you own. A family name can cover several versions, and this product’s title is specific about which ones it names. That makes it easier to narrow the choice, especially when you’re building a studio setup around equipment you already have. Check the model marking on your flash against the compatibility names below; don’t rely on the brand alone. The insert is intended for a defined set of flashes, so choosing by the exact model is the sensible way to shop for it. Once you’ve matched the name, you can decide whether this accessory fits the setup you have in mind.
