Wooden Camera A00095 Quick-Release Top Plate Sony Venice Venice 2 | A quick-release point for tripod setups

When a Sony Venice or Venice 2 is set up on a tripod, this is the kind of accessory that gives the camera a dedicated quick-release top plate. The Wooden Camera A00095 is a tripod accessory intended for those two camera systems. Its role is specific: it provides a quick-release plate for a Venice tripod workflow, rather than serving as a general camera support item. That makes it relevant to crews who use either camera on a tripod and need a straightforward way to release the plate when the setup changes. The model names in the product title make its intended use clear, so you can assess it in the context of a Venice or Venice 2 rig. If tripod-mounted work is part of your setup, this keeps the release point focused on your camera system.

Specialist Note

Moving a Venice setup off its tripod can be a pause in the workflow; this top plate gives that changeover a quick-release point. I’d consider it for a Venice or Venice 2 rig that regularly goes between tripod-mounted work and another setup. For a locked-off interview, use it as the top-plate connection in your tripod arrangement; when the camera needs to move, the quick-release design is intended to make releasing that connection more direct. It’s a camera-specific tripod accessory, rather than a general plate to build around different systems. Keep that narrow purpose in mind: its appeal is the Venice fit and the quick-release role together.
