XEEN 20mm T1.9 FF Cine MFT | A dedicated wide view for filmmaking

Give your Micro Four Thirds footage a wide, composed view with the XEEN 20mm T1.9 FF Cine MFT. This interchangeable wide-angle prime is made for video and filmmaking, and suits operators who want to choose their framing and focus deliberately. Its 20mm focal length gives you room to include more of a scene, making it a natural fit for establishing shots, interiors and location footage where the surroundings matter. It can also work well for dialogue or product scenes when you want the setting to remain part of the image. The MFT mount makes it suited to Micro Four Thirds camera setups. As a dedicated prime, it’s a focused option for filmmakers who want a specific wide framing rather than the flexibility of a zoom. Use it when your shot calls for a broad view and a considered, repeatable approach to filming.

Specialist Note

The XEEN 20mm T1.9 FF Cine MFT is at its best making wide establishing frames on a Micro Four Thirds film set. I’d suggest it to filmmakers who want deliberate control for an interior opener or an environmental interview. At T1.9, you can open the iris for a low-light take and let more light reach the sensor than at a smaller aperture; set your exposure to suit the scene. Its manual focus also lets you plan a rack from a foreground detail to the speaker. The trade-off is that you’ll need to manage that focus transition yourself, rather than relying on autofocus. For planned takes, that hands-on approach can be exactly what you want.
