8Sinn 15mm Baseplate V2 + Riser Plate Basic + 5 ARRI Dovetail Plate
8Sinn 15mm Baseplate V2 + Riser Plate Basic + 5 ARRI Dovetail Plate | Build a considered camera support setup
Build a camera support setup around a baseplate, riser and dovetail plate, with the parts named together from the start. The 8Sinn 15mm Baseplate V2 + Riser Plate Basic + 5 ARRI Dovetail Plate is a tripod accessory for camera makers who want to plan their rig around these specific components. It suits video creators and crew members assembling a camera rig for tripod-supported work, especially when the baseplate and riser need to be part of the setup rather than separate afterthoughts. The product is best understood as a group of rig components, not as a tripod or a complete camera system. That distinction helps set expectations: it gives you a defined starting point for building a supported setup, while the way you use it depends on the rest of your rig. If you’re choosing accessories by name and configuration, this combination keeps the 15mm baseplate, Basic riser and ARRI dovetail plate in view as one product.
Specialist Note
Planning a camera rig can get awkward when the baseplate, height and support plate are treated as separate decisions. This set puts those choices on the table together. The 15mm Baseplate V2 gives you a specific baseplate format to plan around; the Riser Plate Basic is worth considering when you need to account for camera height in that arrangement. I’d look at it for a tripod-supported video setup where you want these pieces to form the starting point, then plan the rest of the rig around them. The ARRI dovetail plate is part of the named combination, but this isn’t a tripod in itself, so you’ll still need the support equipment your setup calls for.
