ACT Conversion Cable DisplayPort Male To HDMI-A Male 1.00m

ACT Conversion Cable DisplayPort Male To HDMI-A Male 1.00m | Connect DisplayPort and HDMI-A devices

When your setup needs a DisplayPort connection at one end and an HDMI-A connection at the other, this cable provides a direct link between them. The ACT Conversion Cable DisplayPort Male To HDMI-A Male 1.00m has a male DisplayPort connector and a male HDMI-A connector, with a cable length of 1.00m. It’s for a connection where those are the two ports you need to join, such as sending a picture from a DisplayPort output towards an HDMI-A input. The important detail is the connector pairing: both ends are male, so each needs to meet a suitable port. At one metre, it’s a short cable for devices placed fairly close together. That can help keep a desk or equipment area from accumulating extra cable slack, though the available reach depends on where your devices sit.

Connection planning

Before placing your devices, identify the ports you’ll be connecting. This cable has a specific combination: DisplayPort male on one end, HDMI-A male on the other. It’s not a cable with identical plugs, and the HDMI end is the full-size HDMI-A connector named in the product title. That makes the connector names useful when matching the cable to a setup; the 1.00m length gives you a clear measure for planning where the connected equipment can sit. Keep in mind that the cable’s length is the practical limit for spacing, so allow for the route it needs to take rather than measuring only the straight-line gap between devices. This description sticks to the connector types and length stated for the product, without assuming a particular screen, computer or video format.
