ACT Monitor Arm 35 inch Gas Spring 2 Monitors ACT Essentials
ACT Monitor Arm 35 inch Gas Spring 2 Monitors ACT Essentials | Make room for a paired-screen workspace
Without a monitor arm, two displays usually sit on separate stands, taking up space on the work surface. The ACT Essentials arm is designed to support a two-screen setup, making it a practical accessory for a photo-studio desk used for editing, image review or other computer-based work. It suits photographers and studio teams who like to keep a preview visible alongside editing tools, or who need two screens in reach during a session. The gas-spring design is intended to help position the monitors, rather than leaving them fixed on their original stands. That can make it easier to arrange a workspace around the task at hand. Its clearest use is a dedicated paired-monitor station; if your work is comfortably handled on one screen, the second-monitor setup may be more than you need. The ACT Essentials name keeps it within a straightforward studio-accessory setup, without making it a camera-specific component.
Specialist Note
“Is this ACT arm meant for two larger screens?” Yes: it’s named for two monitors and carries a 35-inch designation, so that’s the size reference I’d start with when planning your desk layout. The gas spring is useful when you want to reposition the screens as your work changes, rather than treating their placement as fixed. For photo editing, I’d arrange one display for the image and the other for tools or references; for a studio session, keep a preview on one and session controls on the other. It’s aimed at a genuinely paired-screen workflow, so I’d choose it when both displays will earn their space.
