ACT Powercord Extension Cable Cee 7/7 Male (Angled) – Cee 7/7 Female Black 10 M

ACT Powercord Extension Cable Cee 7/7 Male (Angled) – Cee 7/7 Female Black 10 M | Extend your power connection with room to spare

Without an extension cable, equipment often has to be placed close to a socket, even when that’s not the most convenient spot. This ACT powercord extension gives you a longer connection between a Cee 7/7 male plug and a Cee 7/7 female connection. The male plug is angled, which is worth bearing in mind when planning how the cable leaves the socket. It suits a setup that needs extra reach while using these Cee 7/7 connections. In a camera workspace, that can give you more freedom to position powered equipment without letting the socket dictate the layout. The practical consideration is the cable route: plan where it will run so spare cable doesn’t end up across a walkway. Its black finish is a straightforward fit for a low-key cable run.

Plan the route

Before you set up, trace the path the cable will actually take between the socket and the equipment. Measuring only the direct distance can leave out turns, furniture and the route around other items. Think about where the cable will lie once everything is in place, and keep it clear of doorways and regular walking routes where you can. A little planning makes it easier to judge whether the reach works for your layout and helps avoid dealing with a loose loop after the equipment is positioned. If the setup changes later, take another look at the route rather than pulling the cable tight around an obstacle.
