ACT USB 2.0 Connection Cable C Male - C Male 1 Meter

ACT USB 2.0 Connection Cable C Male - C Male 1 Meter | A direct USB-C connection in a 1-metre length

The ACT USB 2.0 Connection Cable C Male - C Male 1 Meter is a 1-metre cable with a USB-C male connector at each end. It’s for anyone who needs to connect two USB-C ports with a direct cable, rather than use a cable with a different connector on either side. The USB 2.0 designation identifies the connection standard; the title doesn’t give a transfer speed, so I wouldn’t choose it on the assumption of a particular speed. Its clear, useful detail is the combination of USB-C connectors and a stated length. That makes it a straightforward option when those are the details your setup calls for. One metre can suit a connection where the devices sit fairly close together, though it won’t provide much spare reach if they’re farther apart.

Before choosing a cable, think about where the two devices will sit and how the cable needs to run between them. The male-to-male ends are intended to plug into USB-C ports at both ends, so this is the direct-link format rather than a cable with a different connector on one side. The 1-metre length gives you a concrete measurement to compare with the route you have in mind. For a desk setup, for example, measure the path between the ports rather than just the gap between the devices; the cable may need to follow a longer route around or behind them. If that route is longer than a metre, this particular length may come up short. It’s a simple product with a specific job: a USB 2.0 cable, USB-C plug at either end, and one metre to work with.
