Agfa Realimove Camcorder CC2700
Agfa Realimove Camcorder CC2700: Capture family events in 2.7K
The Agfa Realimove Camcorder CC2700 records video at up to 2.7K resolution (2688 × 1520), giving your family footage and event recordings plenty of detail. It’s made for home video, from birthdays and family gatherings to school performances and longer recordings. The 3-inch tilting touchscreen gives you a clear view as you compose, while the ergonomic grip is shaped for holding the camcorder during a recording. For a performance, the digital zoom brings a distant stage closer in the frame; image stabilisation is there to steady footage when you’re moving. The CC2700 also captures still photos at up to 24 megapixels, so you can make photographs as well as video with the same device. A built-in LED lamp adds light for darker recording situations. This is a straightforward, self-contained camcorder for people who want to keep a record of family occasions, school shows or trips, rather than relying on a phone’s short clips. It records to an SD card, so you can choose the card capacity that suits your plans, up to 256 GB.
Inside the camera
- 2.7K video: The maximum video resolution is 2688 × 1520. It’s a useful level of detail for keeping event footage that you’ll want to watch again on a larger screen.
- 24 MP still photos: The CC2700 also takes photographs, with a maximum resolution of 24 megapixels. That’s handy when you want a few still images alongside a longer video recording.
- 3-inch tilting touchscreen: The LCD screen tilts to suit your framing angle, and its touchscreen interface gives you a direct way to operate the camera and review footage.
- 18x digital zoom: Bring a faraway subject closer in the frame, such as a performer on a school stage. This is digital zoom, rather than optical zoom.
- Image stabilisation: Stabilisation is included to help keep recorded footage steadier when the camcorder moves. It’s a useful feature for handheld filming at family events.
- LED lamp and memory card slot: The LED lamp provides extra light for recording in darker surroundings. There’s no internal memory; recordings are stored on an SD card of up to 256 GB, sold separately.
Specialist Note
At the school hall, the CC2700 has a clear job: keep the whole performance on record, even from the back of the room. I like that its grip is shaped for a steady hold, while the 287-gram weight keeps it manageable through a longer recording. Tilt the screen to get a comfortable view of the stage, then use the remote control to start recording from your seat. For family occasions, the same approach works well when you want to stay with the group rather than keep checking the camera. One point to plan for: there’s no internal memory, and an SD card isn’t included, so bring a card before the event. The 18x zoom is digital, so I’d use it to tighten the composition, not expect optical zoom performance.
