Angelbird USB-C 3.2 Solid Flex Tether Cable Lime 4.5 M / 14.8 FT

Angelbird USB-C 3.2 Solid Flex Tether Cable Lime 4.5 M / 14.8 FT | A long tether link for your setup

Without a tether cable, you’re working without a direct cable link between your camera and the rest of your tethered setup. This Angelbird cable is made for that job, with a 4.5 m / 14.8 ft length that gives you room to position your equipment without keeping it right beside the computer. Its lime colour is easy to pick out among other cables, which can be handy when you’re tracing a connection across a busy work area. The name identifies it as a USB-C 3.2 Solid Flex Tether Cable. That makes it a specific option for photographers building a tethered workflow around USB-C. It’s the extended reach that’s most useful here: a shorter cable can dictate where equipment sits, while this one gives the setup more distance to work with. The honest trade-off is that a longer cable still needs sensible routing around people and equipment.

Think about the physical layout of your shooting space before choosing a cable length. At 4.5 metres, this model can span more distance than a short desk-side connection, but the cable still has to follow a clear path. Keep its route in mind around a workstation, table or other gear so it doesn’t become an obstacle. The bright lime colour can also make the cable easier to distinguish when several leads are in use. That’s a practical detail in a shared workspace, where identifying the tether connection quickly can save a bit of fiddling.

For a tethered session, the cable is part of the working setup rather than an accessory you’ll handle only once. Its stated USB-C 3.2 connection and tether-cable designation describe the intended role, while the name Solid Flex identifies this particular cable model. This product page doesn’t name a camera or computer system, so it’s best to match the cable’s connection to the equipment in your own setup. If the connection and available route suit your workspace, the extra length gives you more freedom to arrange the tethered station at a comfortable distance.
