Asus ProArt PA24US 23.6inch IPS UHD
Asus ProArt PA24US 23.6inch IPS UHD | Detailed work in a focused desk space
The 23.6-inch screen is the defining choice here: it gives you a focused display area for image work without asking for a large stretch of desk. The Asus ProArt PA24US is a monitor for photographers and image editors who want to inspect pictures closely while keeping their setup compact. It can suit a dedicated editing station, a home office, or a second workspace where a larger screen would be awkward. That size also asks you to work deliberately: keep the image you’re judging prominent, and move between it and your editing tools as needed. For reviewing a finished photograph, making careful local adjustments, or checking a crop before delivery, the PA24US is aimed at considered desktop work rather than a sprawling multi-window setup. Its appeal is that straightforward combination of a manageable footprint and a display intended for detailed viewing.
Specialist Note
A portrait is open on the desk as the afternoon edit winds down, and this is where the PA24US earns its space. The UHD display gives you room to inspect fine edges and small retouching decisions; I’d switch between the full composition and a 100% view to judge both the overall balance and a close detail. Its IPS panel is helpful when a client or colleague looks at the image beside you, so you’re not both trying to view it from exactly the same spot. It suits photographers doing careful image review at a compact workstation. Just bear in mind that 23.6 inches is a focused workspace, not a broad canvas for lots of open panels.
