BlackRapid Waist Pack w/ 2 Zippered Pockets / Belt - Coyote
BlackRapid Waist Pack w/ 2 Zippered Pockets / Belt - Coyote | Helps protect small gear in a larger bag
Smaller camera gear is less likely to pick up scratches and bumps as it moves around in a larger bag. The BlackRapid Waist Pack is a protective pouch with two zippered pockets, made for keeping gear contained rather than loose among the rest of your kit. It suits photographers who want a simple way to separate smaller items and add a layer of protection when packing a camera bag. The belt gives you the option of wearing the pack at your waist, while the two pockets help keep contents apart and enclosed. Its best role is as an organiser and protective case within a larger bag, where it can help prevent everyday knocks and scuffs. Think of it as a practical place for smaller pieces of gear, not as a replacement for a bag designed to carry a full camera setup.
Specialist Note
The BlackRapid Waist Pack is at its best as a protective organiser for smaller gear inside a larger camera bag. I like that it has two zippered pockets: you can keep items in separate compartments instead of letting them rub together loose in your bag. The belt also gives you the option of wearing the pack at your waist when you want those stored items close at hand. For packing camera gear between locations, I’d place the items in the pockets, close the zips, then tuck the pack into your main bag to help guard against scratches and bumps. It’s a pouch, so I’d use it as an extra layer of protection, not as the sole bag for a full setup.
