Canon PGI-580/CLI-581 PGBK/C/M/Y/BK Multi

Canon PGI-580/CLI-581 PGBK/C/M/Y/BK Multi | Shop by ink code

Buying printer ink one colour at a time can mean keeping track of several product codes. The Canon PGI-580/CLI-581 PGBK/C/M/Y/BK Multi is named as a multi-ink product, with the PGI-580/CLI-581 references and five ink identifiers together in its title. It suits shoppers who are looking for those specific codes, rather than searching for a single colour on its own. The name gives you a direct way to narrow your search, and spells out the black and colour abbreviations to look for. It’s most useful when you already know the code you need and want to shop by that reference. A small practical point: use the full product name when comparing listings, since searching just for “black ink” or “colour ink” is much less specific.

Shopping by the printed code

If you’re replacing printer ink, the code is the useful part of this product name. Compare the reference you’re shopping for with the one shown on your current ink or in your printer’s information, then use the complete title to distinguish this listing from products described by colour alone. The abbreviations PGBK, C, M, Y and BK are included in the name, so you can use them as part of that search. I’d keep the code to hand rather than relying on a broad category label. That’s a simple way to make your search more precise without guessing from the colour names.
