Cartoni AH898 Mitchell Wedge Lock Adapter

Cartoni AH898 Mitchell Wedge Lock Adapter | A clearly named connection component

When a camera-support setup calls for a Mitchell Wedge Lock adapter, the Cartoni AH898 is the part to identify by its full name. It’s a specialist accessory rather than a general-purpose camera add-on, and its title points directly to the connection it’s intended to address: Mitchell Wedge Lock. That makes it relevant to camera crews, rental departments and technicians working with equipment specified around that interface. In day-to-day prep, a precisely named component is easier to match to a parts list than an adapter described only in broad terms. The AH898 designation gives you a specific Cartoni item to discuss with your team or supplier. The honest benefit is clarity: its name tells you what kind of adapter you’re looking at, without making broad claims about every support setup.

For a specialist, the key detail here is the phrase “Mitchell Wedge Lock”. That’s the term to compare with the connection named in your equipment documentation or build notes. The model reference, AH898, is useful when you’re identifying this particular Cartoni adapter in a list of components. Keep both details together when discussing the part; relying on “adapter” alone can make it harder to distinguish one item from another. This is a focused piece of kit, so its value is in being the named component required for a particular connection—not in adding features unrelated to that job.

If you’re preparing a rig, planning a rental or keeping track of support components, use the full product name in your notes: Cartoni AH898 Mitchell Wedge Lock Adapter. It’s concise, specific and leaves less room for confusion than a shortened label. I’d treat the interface wording as the practical starting point when identifying the part. The product name is also the clearest detail to pass between camera department, prep team and supplier when everyone needs to refer to the same component.
