Desq Filter HMC Slim UV 62mm
Desq Filter HMC Slim UV 62mm | A simple UV filter for everyday lens use
On a bright outdoor walk, you may want a filter that handles UV light without adding a colour effect. The Desq Filter HMC Slim UV 62mm is a UV filter for that straightforward purpose. It suits photographers who want this type of filter on a lens with a 62mm filter size, whether they’re out in the countryside or taking pictures around town. The HMC designation is part of this model’s name; it’s a detail to keep in mind when choosing between filters. A UV filter can also serve as a clear layer in front of the lens during everyday use, though it isn’t a substitute for careful handling or cleaning. This is best considered a simple, practical filter rather than a creative effect: choose it when UV filtration is what you want, and when the lens’s filter size matches.
Specialist Note
The slim profile keeps this filter’s design focused on a low-profile fit at the front of the lens, which is handy if you prefer not to add a bulky-looking accessory. Its 62mm size gives you a clear check when matching it to a lens: look for the same filter-size marking on the lens. I’d consider it for outdoor walks or everyday city photography when you want a UV filter in place; fit it to the matching lens and leave it on for that use. One honest point: the size is specific, so it won’t suit a lens marked with a different filter diameter. Simple, and easy to choose when the numbers match.
