DJI Mic Mini 2 Multi-Colour Windscreens
DJI Mic Mini 2 Multi-Colour Windscreens | Add colour and wind cover
For outdoor dialogue where a little wind can distract from the voice, a windscreen gives your DJI Mic Mini 2 a layer of cover while adding a splash of colour to the setup. The DJI Mic Mini 2 Multi-Colour Windscreens are windscreens for this microphone system, with multiple colours to choose from. They suit creators recording spoken video, interviews or short clips on location, especially when they want the microphones to be easier to tell apart. Assigning a different colour to each speaker can make a shared recording setup quicker to organise, and the coloured finish also gives the microphones a more individual look on camera. Their main job is practical: help soften wind noise reaching the microphone. They’re a small accessory rather than a fix for every outdoor sound problem, so they’re best thought of as one simple step towards clearer speech—not a replacement for choosing a sheltered recording spot.
Specialist Note
The different colours give these small windscreens a clear visual detail, which can make a two-person recording setup easier to keep organised. I’d use one colour per speaker for street interviews or outdoor clips, then keep that pairing consistent while setting up; it’s a simple way to avoid mixing up who’s wearing which mic. Since these are windscreens for the DJI Mic Mini 2, they’re aimed at helping with wind across spoken recordings, not changing the sound into something studio-like. They’re a sensible match for filming outside, but strong gusts can still get in the way, so I’d choose a sheltered spot when the weather allows.
