Elinchrom Elb 500 TTL Charger

Elinchrom Elb 500 TTL Charger: Recharge ELB batteries between shoots

A depleted flash battery can interrupt a session just when you need to keep working. The Elinchrom Elb 500 TTL Charger recharges the ELB 500 TTL and ELB 400 (Quadra Li-Ion) batteries, with a full charge taking 100 minutes. That makes it a dedicated option for getting an ELB battery ready again between portrait sessions, commercial assignments or other shoots using either compatible system. The charger also supports active charging, so you can use that function when your charging routine calls for it. LED indicators show the charging status at a glance; you can see where the battery is in the process while planning your next setup or deciding when to pack. A Multi-Plug adapter set is included, adding the supplied plug options to the charger kit. This is a specific Elinchrom accessory rather than a general-purpose charger: its stated compatibility is with ELB 500 TTL and ELB 400 batteries. The stated full-charge time and visible status feedback are useful details when timing matters. If you work with both compatible battery types, one charger covers either of them. It’s a straightforward piece of support equipment, with the charging time, weight and included adapters clearly defined.

Charging Highlights

• For ELB 500 TTL and ELB 400 batteries: This charger is specified for the ELB 500 TTL battery and the ELB 400 Quadra Li-Ion battery. That gives you one dedicated charger for either of these Elinchrom battery systems, rather than having to rely on an unspecified universal model.
• 100-minute full charge: A battery reaches 100% in 100 minutes, according to the supplied product information. That figure gives you a concrete charging interval to account for when preparing an ELB battery for the next session.
• Active charging support: The charger supports active charging. This function is listed as a product feature, making it useful to note when matching the charger to your existing charging routine.
• LED charging indicators: Visual indicators display the charging status. You can check progress directly on the charger instead of guessing whether a battery is ready to go back into your kit.
• Multi-Plug adapter set included: The supplied adapter set is part of the package. It means the charger comes with the listed plug accessories, rather than requiring you to source that set separately.
• 500 Ws rating: The listed power specification is 500 Ws. This identifies the rating supplied for this Elinchrom charger and is a useful point of reference when selecting accessories for your ELB setup.
• 530 g, black finish: The charger weighs 530 grams and has a black finish. Those details help you account for its size and appearance when organizing your charging kit alongside your lighting equipment.
