Formatt Hitech 77-77mm Adapter Ring For Firecrest 85mm Holder
Formatt Hitech 77-77mm Adapter Ring For Firecrest 85mm Holder | Match your filter-holder setup
When you're assembling a filter-holder setup, the ring size is one of the details that needs to line up. This Formatt Hitech adapter ring is identified as 77-77mm and is made for the Firecrest 85mm holder. It suits photographers putting together a setup around that specific ring size and holder, or replacing a ring with the same designation. Its purpose is straightforward: provide the named adapter-ring connection for use with the Firecrest holder. The useful part is knowing exactly which combination it’s intended for, rather than choosing a ring by appearance alone. If your setup calls for a 77-77mm adapter ring and the Firecrest 85mm holder, this is the specific part to consider. It’s a focused fit, not a general-purpose adapter for every filter holder, so matching those details is central to getting the right piece for your kit.
Specialist Note
The 77-77mm marking on this ring gives you a clear sizing reference while you’re sorting out a holder setup. I’d keep that designation in view when choosing the part, then pair it with the Firecrest 85mm holder it’s made for. That’s a practical fit for someone building a filter-holder arrangement around this particular system, including landscape work where you want the holder in place as you compose. The ring’s value is its specific pairing, rather than broad versatility; it won’t replace a differently sized adapter ring. If your plan calls for 77-77mm and the 85mm Firecrest holder, the names line up clearly.
