Fotopro SJ 96l Aluminum Phone Clip
Fotopro SJ 96l Aluminum Phone Clip | Keep your phone framed on a tripod
For a steady phone view in a video call or a simple piece-to-camera recording, a tripod accessory can make framing less of a balancing act. The Fotopro SJ 96l Aluminum Phone Clip is a phone clip in an aluminum construction, intended as a tripod accessory. It suits anyone who wants to use a phone for a fixed shot rather than hold it throughout a recording. Set your framing before you begin, then keep your attention on the conversation, demonstration or message. The clip format gives the phone a place to be held, while the tripod setup provides the support for the shot. It’s a focused bit of kit, not a phone stand with extra features: its appeal is straightforward phone positioning for tripod-based use. If you’re putting together a pared-back recording setup, this is the kind of small accessory that helps keep the picture composed while your hands are free.
Specialist Note
The SJ 96l gives a phone a dedicated clip holding point for tripod framing, instead of leaving you to prop it against whatever’s nearby. Its aluminum construction means you’re handling a metal accessory during setup; the useful part is that it stays a simple, purpose-built piece rather than adding controls to learn. I’d consider it for a fixed video-call view or a short tutorial where you need both hands free: position the tripod for the view you want, secure the phone in the clip, then frame before recording. One limitation is clear from its role: the clip isn’t a tripod by itself, so you’ll need a tripod setup too.
